Capsule Summary
All of the variation sets on this disc are taken from Ingrid Haebler’s 1975 Philips recording. This appears to be the first identified instance in the Hatto catalogue of an analog-era source being used. Tempo manipulation has been applied selectively, affecting some of the themes, minor-key variations, and final variations.
Thanks to Bobby Snow for identifying the Haebler source.
