Capsule Summary
Piano Concerto No. 2 is taken from Jean-Philippe Collard’s EMI recording, but was transferred a half step flat on the Hatto CD, causing it to play back in F-sharp minor rather than G minor. Piano Concerto No. 4 is heavily edited, alternating between Angela Brownridge and Jean-Philippe Collard in the first movement, and between Angela Brownridge and Stephen Hough in the second movement. Piano Concerto No. 5 is from Anna Malikova’s Audite recording. All movements are subject to varying degrees of tempo manipulation.
Piano Concerto No. 2 also appears on CACD 9085-2. Piano Concerto No. 4 also appears on CACD 9086-2.
